MAY Birthdays!
Lots of Birthdays are coming up in MAY! Jeremy was birthed on the 12th, Emily on the 20th, and Ivan on the 22nd. Happy Birthday Peeps!
HC for May 3rd
Next weeks group will be at Emily and Jeremy's house. Calvin & Clayton are on childcare (if there's not enough kids, you guys can decide who does it!) and Kyle is sweet, Joy is savory, and Becka is SURPRISE snacks. Remember this is the first week of the month, so there is the potential that we may have new visitors.

HC Essentials for April 26th, 2009
Thanks to Jeremy for watching the children last night, and to Emily for stocking them up on a lot of sugar. And thanks to Levi for the SAVORY snack! You guys are great!
Next week we will be at the Costello's and Laura and Michele are on for childcare. Beth and Howie are bringing the sweet and savory snack.
Last night Danielle talked to us about her new friends from afar (feel free to comment on the details of where they are from again Danielle) and how they will be joining our group for the next couple months, starting next week. Let's make sure they feel extra welcomed, and in doing so, if any of you want to volunteer to bring an additional snack, along with Beth and Howie's, that would be awesome! I'm sure Emily's candy will make another apperance as well...or did Tim & Becka eat it all? Just kidding. :)

Trevor's Birthday! Happy Birthday!!! Wow, what better day than tax day to celebrate! Brian and Danielle also are celebrating their unbridled love for eachother, joined in marriage, on April 28th! Congratulations!

"This is Such a Nice Room" & Sunday, April 19th
It was a rockin Easter party we had on Sunday! The setting was awesome, thanks to Danielle, the food was amazing, thanks to Becka, Danielle, Beth, Kim, and Joy (I'm sure the guys cooked something too), and the photo shoot was amazing thanks to Tim. :) The mysterious "resurrection eggs" even made an appearance at the easter egg hunt. It was another Easter miracle! Thanks to everyone who participated!!! We had a great time!

(FYI on the childcare...if there aren't enough kids for 2 adults, one of you can have the night off and I'll reschedule you down the line!).

EASTER EASTER DANCE DANCE
Okay, so dancing is optional (but definitely acceptable). This sunday we will be celebrating Easter as a home community at the WorldView Center/IICC on the base of Mt. Tabor. This is where Danielle works, and they so kindly opened it up to us! There is a definite chance of rain on Sunday, so it has both outdoor and indoor areas for us to hang depending on the weather. Please bring whatever you'd like to grill and something to share! The address is 6012 SE Yamhill Portland Oregon, 97215 and we will meet at 2pm in lieu of our normal meeting time that evening.
Danielle gave us a few more tips on the directions and a few other notes: "The building is a large brick multi story building right on the cornerand it is large. It is locked. Folks need to park on Yamhill and walkup and around to the back side of the building (by the parking lotwhich is reserved for residents who live there). It sounds a little complicated, but it really isn't. If folks go to the doors in the front of the building, they can ring the doorbell and tell anyone whoanswers they are looking for Danielle and they will be directed downto the kitchen area...... we are just off of SE 60th and Yamhill, right before Belmont street. Here are some details..... We have a large propane grill. If the HC uses it, we probably shouldrefill the propane cans at Walgreen's after we use it....)We have a full dinning room with tables and chairs both outdoors andindoors. We can use all the silverware, plates, cups etc.... (maybe Icould have some quick help afterwards running them through thedishwasher?). I will also have beverages...."
